Our cruise ends in Vancouver, BC.  This morning we disembark and head for the airport.  Instead of flying out we rent a car and head north driving thru Stanley Park on our way to Capilano Suspension Bridge. The namesake of this attraction is a long swaying footbridge that dangles 230 feet above the small Capilano River.  The rest of this theme park is also fun.  The Tree Tops Adventure takes us up close and personal with the northwest rainforest.  We get a squirrels-eye view of giant Douglas fir trees by hiking a walkway suspended within the forest canopy.

Later in the afternoon we make the scenic two-hour drive inland toward the ski resorts of Whistler and Blackcomb.  We spend night back in Vancouver at the Quality Inn.

The next morning we head to the airport for our flight back to Chicago via Seattle.  At a SeaTac cafe we see Jesse Jackson having lunch a few tables down from us.
