Winter in Chicago is lingering on. To improve our natural Vitamin D production, we got up early today and flew to Ft Lauderdale, FL and checked into the Bahia Mar Resort. The hotel is west of the highway and has a long boardwalk across the road for easy beach access. The hotel is on a lagoon with a large dock filled with monster yachts. For sentimental reasons Aimee would have liked to stay down the street at the Yankee Clipper. That ship-shaped hotel is where her family came every year for vacation. Feedback I saw on the Internet, suggested the décor hadn’t been updated since that time.
