Memorial Day, 2006
Memorial Day, 2006 This holiday weekend will always be memorable to me. I officially quit working. It is my Emancipation Proclamation. I am Free at Last. We spent the weekend with my parents. We had a party and invited many of my relatives. Ostensibly we were celebrating my parent’s 60th anniversary, but I was equally happy.
I am not worried, but Aimee has some trepidation for
the future. Our house is for sale and we are soon to be homeless. On the way
back, we stopped in Pontiac, IL and came home with a used motorhome. I probably
didn’t help things when I told her it was the size of our laundry room. We are
going mobile and there is no turning back.
