Memorial Day, 2006

This holiday weekend will always be memorable to me. I officially quit working. It is my Emancipation Proclamation. I am Free at Last. We spent the weekend with my parents. We had a party and invited many of my relatives. Ostensibly we were celebrating my parent’s 60th anniversary, but I was equally happy.

I am not worried, but Aimee has some trepidation for the future. Our house is for sale and we are soon to be homeless. On the way back, we stopped in Pontiac, IL and came home with a used motorhome. I probably didn’t help things when I told her it was the size of our laundry room. We are going mobile and there is no turning back.
